Grew TrioborderingThe Grew Trio was formed in 1995 by Stephen Grew, Richard Scott and Phillip Marks. The self titled cd “grew trio” was released the following year. A Jazz Services tour followed in 1996 as well as a performance in Nicklesdorf, Austria in 1997. In 1999 the trio undertook a British Council funded tour of Germany. The result of this activity abroad was the recording “bordering”.

to play musicMick Beck on tenor saxophone and bassoon joined the band in 2000. This version of the trio toured around England and played again in Nicklesdorf in 2000 and at the Ulrichsberg Kaleidophon festival in 2002. They produced the recordings “to play music” from 2002 and “it’s morning” from 2005.
